Elizabeth F. Shipman, O.D.

Doctor Shipman who is currently the owner of the practice has been a friend of Dr. Kristine Eng who was the previous owner for over 20 years, and was an associate in the practice for three years before she bought it. She is a San francisco native and now resides in the East Bay. After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of California Los Angeles in 1996, she attended and graduated from the Pacific University College of Optometry School in 2002. Since then, Dr. Shipman has been seeing patients in our office, while working alongside Dr. Barry Breaux, an ophtalmologist in Pinole. She has extensive experience in fitting difficult contact lenses and has worked with thousands of children as an Alameda and Contra Costa school vision screener.
